Kadokawa has released a new clip from its new musical anime, Selection Project.

The new idol anime's opening title sequence features the song "Glorious Days," an upbeat tune with inspiring lyrics. It is performed by the voice actors for Selection Project's nine main characters and showcases the cast's musical talents.

Selection Project is part of Kadokawa's Idol x Audition x Reality Show multimedia project and follows nine young women as they compete to become pop idols. The series debuted as part of Funimation's current anime season. Other shows making their premiere on the streaming service this fall include AMAIN Warrior at the Borderline, PuraOre! Several members of Selection Project's voice cast are making their anime debut with the series, including Mizuna Shirakawa as Uta Koizumi, Nozomi Nagumo as Hiromi Hamaguri, Ruri Arai as Nagisa Imau, and Hina Yomiya as Nodoka Yagi. The cast also includes multiple popular and experienced voice actors like Daisuke Ono (The Seven Deadly Sins: Revival of the CommandmentsJoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable), Saori Hayami (My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!My Senpai Is Annoying), Saori Ōnishi (Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?Haikyu!! To The Top) and Shino Shimoji (The Case Study of VanitasRestaurant to Another World).

Studio Doga Kobo (Berserk: The Golden Age Arc I - The Egg of the KingOuran High School Host Club) is producing the animation for Selection Project and Daisuke Hiramaki (Watashi ni Tenshi ga Maiorita!Battle Girls - Time Paradox) is directing the series. Yūya Takahashi (Lupin the Third: Jigen's Gravestone, Tiger & Bunny) is supervising the series composition, Takurō Iga (Asteroid in LoveSlow Loop) composed the music while Kanna Hirayama (Fate/Grand Order - Absolute Demonic Front: BabyloniaDiary of Our Days at the Breakwater) designed its characters.

In addition to Selection Project, Kadokawa is also producing a number of other anime series that are also airing this fall, including The World's Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat, Mieruko-chan and Banished from the Hero's Party, I Decided to Live a Quiet Life in the Countryside.

The first two episodes of Selection Project are available to stream on Funimation. The first season of the series will run for 13 episodes in total, with new episodes being released every Friday.
