The hit fantasy reincarnation webtoon See You in My 19th Life has unveiled the main cast of the live-action adaptation.

As reported by Soompi, the live-action drama of Lee Hye's webtoon See You in My 19th Life revealed the actors who will play the four main characters of the work. Shin Hye Sun plays the protagonist Jieum Ban, who has lived through 18 lives and is currently in her 19th reincarnation. Ahn Bo Hyun will portray her childhood friend Seoha Moon. Ha Yun Kyung acts as Jieum's younger sister Chowon Yoon. Ahn Dong Gu will portray Doyun Ha, Seoha's friend from middle school and now secretary.

Shin's acting career began when she played a minor character in School 2013. In 2016, she starred in the fantasy-romance drama The Legend of the Blue Sea. Shin played her first film role in 2020 when she portrayed a lawyer in Innocence. She starred in the romantic comedy drama Mr. Queen and received a nomination for her portrayal at the Baeksang Arts Award. See You in My 19th Life is her first work after a two-year break.

An amateur boxer before he went into acting, Ahn, who plays Seoha, played one of the soldiers in the hit 2016 drama Descendants of the Sun. He later plays the antagonist Jang Geun-won in the 2020 drama Itaewon Class. Ahn portrayed Goo Woong in the 2021 series Yumi's Cells.

Ha's first role was in the 2018 drama Matrimonial Chaos. In 2020, she played Heo Sun-bin in the hit medical drama Hospital Playlist. Two years later, she portrayed Choi Su-yeon, Woo Young-woo's law school classmate in the hit Netflix drama Extraordinary Attorney Woo.

Ahn, who plays Doyun, has had experience acting in webcomic-based adaptations. He played Lee Soo-woong in the 2020 horror series Sweet Home. A year later, he played Ga Eun-ho in the coming-of-age romantic comedy series Our Beloved Summer, which later turned into a webcomic after the drama finished airing. He later played Choi Byung-tae in the Disney+ romance series Snowdrop.

See You In My 19th Life begins with a 12-year-old girl named Juwon Yun who has a secret: she has lived 17 lives and can remember all the memories from every one of her past lives. After living for over thousands of years, Juwon has already grown tired of people and life, but to her surprise, the one who breaks through her jaded perspective is the young boy Seoha Moon. However, just as Juwon is looking forward to living her 18th life, it gets tragically cut short. Now, in her 19th life as Jieum Ban, she wants to reconnect with the people in her last life. The main story of See You in My 19th Life is complete at 105 chapters and has over 75 million views. Lee's previous work, A Good Day to be a Dog, is also receiving a drama adaptation starring Park Gyu-young and Cha Eunwoo.

See You in My 19th Life is available to read on WEBTOON. The drama version will premiere sometime in the first half of 2023.
