Guardians of the Galaxy’s Dave Bautista is joining Season 2 of the Apple TV+ series See, which stars Aquaman's Jason Momoa.

Bautista hinted at the announcement on Jan. 9 with a cryptic Twitter post.

This will be the first major TV role for the actor and former WWE Superstar, who has transitioned smoothly to a career on the big screen. In addition to Guardians, Bautista has landed roles in the critically acclaimed Blade Runner 2049 and Spectre. He’s also slated to appear in Warner Bros.’ Dune remake — along with Momoa — and Netflix’s upcoming Army of the Dead movie.

See takes place in a dystopian future, where mankind has been brought to its knees by a deadly virus that leaves its survivors blind. The plot focuses on the life of Baba Voss and his children, who — miraculously — have the ability to see. The sci-fi series premiered on Apple TV+ in November and was quickly renewed for a second season.

See stars Jason Momoa, Alfre Woodard, Hera Hillary, Sylvia Hoeks and Christian Carmago. Season 1 is now available on Apple TV+.
