A pair of new TV trailers for "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" debuted during NFL football this week, showing the big confrontations that everyone has been dying to see -- including one between the Man of Steel and the Batmobile.

Both 30-second spots from Zack Snyder's upcoming superhero smash-up consist of prolonged takes on previously previewed scenes, culminating with a quote that had been heavily featured in previous trailers. Between the two, audiences get what looks to be a clear view at the first meetings between the two icons, both in and out of costume.

"Do you bleed?" growls Ben Affleck's Batman, after Henry Cavill's Superman has shrugged off a blow from the world's most famous weaponized vehicle in one TV spot.

In the other, Clark Kent introduces himself to Bruce Wayne and the two share their opposing views on the legalities of crime-fighting, before being interrupted by Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor.

"Civil liberties are being trampled all over your city, by a Bat-vigilante that thinks he's above the law," Cavill, as the reporter Kent, badgers.

"Don't believe everything you hear, son," Affleck responds, with condescension that is pitch-perfect for the hardened crusader.

What do you think? Do these extended looks change your understanding of the conflict between the World's Finest duo in the upcoming March 25 release from Warner Bros?
