Avengers: Endgame star Sebastian Stan has played a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since 2011. With a Disney+ series on the way, there's no indication he's going anywhere soon. However, he admits he'd love to play one of Bruce Wayne/Batman's greatest enemies at sone point.

At Jus In Bello in Rome, the 36-year-old revealed he'd love to play Edward Nygma, aka the Riddler. "I would love to try and play The Riddler. That's an interesting character," Stan confessed. "I don't know how you'd play that one actually, that would be very hard to be honest, because you couldn't be like crazy crazy crazy. You would have to be kind of much darker than that, but that's an interesting character."

While Oswald Cobblepot/Penguin is reportedly the big bad of Matt Reeves' The Batman, that movie might reportedly feature around six villains. Reeves has also said he has a trilogy of films in mind, so Riddler might come into play later. The character was played by Jim Carrey in 1995's Batman Forever and Cory Michael Smith on Fox's Gotham.

With Ben Affleck officially out as Batman — and Robert Pattinson reportedly taking over — there's a flurry of news surrounding the world of the Dark Knight. Although it's not known with any certainty exactly who the film's villains will be, Josh Gad continues to champion himself for the role of Penguin.
