By the time San Diego Comic-Con rolls around this July, "Suicide Squad's" theatrical debut will be a mere two weeks away, and Warner Bros. is stepping up its game by bringing a number of "Suicide Squad"-themed events to the convention.

These events includes an immersive experience, which will take place in San Diego's Hard Rock Hotel from 10 am to 7 pm each day of the con. For this event, all 6000 square feet of the Hard Rock Hotel will be transformed into Belle Reve penitentiary, which is where "Suicide Squad's" main cast of characters are imprisoned at the beginning of the film. Here, fans will be able to fight alongside the Squad in a live-action virtual reality experience, get their own skull "ink" at Harley Quinn's tattoo parlor and take photos in a recreation of one of Belle Reve's jail cells.

Additionally, DC All Access will sponsor an online cosplay contest called "Squad Up." Starting today, fans can enter their cosplays of Deadshot, the Joker, Harley Quinn, Colonel Rick Flag, Amanda Waller, Captain Boomerang, Diablo, Killer Croc, Enchantress, Slipknot or Katana on the official "Squad Up" website, Twitter and Instagram. Eleven winners -- who will be selected by visitors to the site -- will receive an all-expenses-paid trip for four days and three nights to San Diego and passes to the Con; at the convention, they will take part in "Suicide Squad"-themed activities.

The "Suicide Squad" cast will also be in attendance for Warner Bros.' Hall H presentation. They will appear periodically at the DC booth to meet fans and sign movie posters, in addition to their special ensemble appearance the Conan O'Brien Show on Saturday, July 23.

The next DC Cinematic Universe installment, "Suicide Squad," stars Jared Leto as the Joker, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Will Smith as Deadshot, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, Karen Fukuhara as Katana, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, Jay Hernandez as El Diablo and Adam Beach as Slipknot and is scheduled for release on Aug. 5, 2016. San Diego Comic-Con runs July 21 to July 24.
