Games developer NetherRealm Studios is set to reveal two new playable characters in the hotly anticipated "Injustice 2" at its Comic-Con International: San Diego panel on Friday, July 22 from 12:30-1:30pm PT.

The "Injustice 2" panel's guests include creative director Ed Boon, "Injustice" comics scribe Tom Taylor, Superman voice actor George Newbern, Aquaman voice actor Phil LaMarr and Supergirl voice actor Laura Bailey.

Boon teased the panel with the following image, touting Red Lantern Atrocitus' addition to the game as a playable character, along with two mysterious silhouettes:

Developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, "Injustice 2" is set for a 2017 release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
