Fans who fretted over the lack of "The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl" in the crop of 45 previously announced "All-New, All-Different Marvel" series need no longer worry: A new volume is scheduled to debut in October, from the fan-favorite creative team of the current series -- writer Ryan North and artist Erica Henderson. The announcement comes as part of the "Women of Marvel" panel midday Sunday at Comic-Con International in San Diego.

"Unbeatable Squirrel Girl" just debuted in January of this year, making this a very close turnaround for a relaunch -- as observed in Henderson's cover for the new issue #1, which reads, "Only our second #1 so far this year." It appears that, along with the creative, the basic premise of the book has remained the same: Squirrel Girl taking on unlikely threats and attending college, joined by her squirrel friend Tippy-Toe and human friend Nancy.
