Nickelodeon today released a new trailer for its upcoming Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series along with details about the series’ villains, its voice cast and a premiere date. The news was announced today at the Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles panel at Comic-Con International: San Diego.

The voice cast for Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles includes Omar Miller as Raph, Ben Schwartz as Leo, Josh Brener as Donnie, Brandon Mychal Smith as Mikey, Kat Graham as April O’Neil, and Eric Bauza as Splinter.

The series will also feature several brand-new villains voiced by guest actors like Lena Headey (Game of Thrones), who will play the spider mutant Big Mama; John Michael Higgins (Pitch Perfect), who will play Warren Stone, a news anchor who gets turned into a mutant worm; Tom Kenny (SpongeBob SquarePants) as a birthday-loving robot on a rampage named Albearto; Sam Richardson and Tim Simons (Veep), who play gargoyles that stick close to their master Baron Draxum; John Rotten Lydon (Sex Pistols) as a mutant pig named Meat Sweats; Rhys Darby (Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle), who will play Hypno-Potamus, a sinister hippo who also happens to be a magician; and Jorge Gutierrez (El Tigre) as Ghostbear, a lucha-inspired wrestler who just loves to cheat to win.

Rob Paulsen (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) and Maurice LaMarche (Animaniacs) will reunite to play Foot Lieutenant, the leader of the Foot Clan, and Foot Brute, the Foot Lieutenant’s second-in-command.

It’s not just the series’ villains who will be voiced by big-name Hollywood actors. The turtles themselves will also be voiced by some serious star power, including Omar Miller (Ballers) as Raph, Ben Schwartz (Parks and Recreation) as Leo, Josh Brener (Silicon Valley) as Donnie, Brandon Mychal Smith (You’re The Worst) as Mikey, Kat Graham (The Vampire Diaries) as April O’Neil, Eric Bauza (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) as Splinter. John Cena will play the show’s central villain, Baron Draxum.

The debut episode of Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will premiere on Sept. 17. A half-hour sneak peek episode, “Mystic Mayhem,” will air on July 20, at 9:30 pm on Nickelodeon. The series will run for 26 episodes and is co-executive-produced by Andy Suriano (Samurai Jack) and Ant Ward (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles).
