As expected, the second Comic-Con International poster for "Kong: Skull Island" offers a mist-enshrouded look at the film's title character -- and he's every bit as colossal as director Jordan Vogt-Roberts promised.

“In terms of actual size, our Kong is by far the biggest Kong,” he recently told Entertainment Weekly. “Peter Jackson’s Kong was around 25 feet. The ‘33 Kong ranged between 25 feet and 50 feet, I want to say he was 50-plus feet when he was on the Empire State Building. He varied in size dramatically! The ’70s Kong was somewhere between them.”

Legendary Pictures is counting down to its Saturday presentation in Hall H, so we presumably should see a third poster that offers an even better look at Kong before the trailer premiere.

Opening March 10, 2017, "Kong: Skull Island" stars Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, John Goodman, Samuel L. Jackson, Jing Tian, John Ortiz, Shea Whigham and Toby Kebbell.
