SDCC Unveils Poster Celebrating MCU’s 10-Year Anniversary

While Marvel Studios will not be on hand at San Diego Comic-Con International this summer, the studio still plans to have a presence at the annual convention to celebrate the first ten years of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

According to The San Diego Comic-Con Unofficial Blog, Marvel will be teaming up with the folks at Mondo for a the 2018 Souvenir Book cover celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The artwork, which you can see below, was designed by artist Matt Taylor, who has previously worked with Marvel and Mondo to design an impressive poster for Guardians of the Galaxy. Along with covering this year's Souvenir Book, fans will also have the chance to purchase a limited edition print of the image.

The celebratory MCU cover for the Souvenir Book will be sold as an exclusive print, limited to just 1,000 copies. If you're interested in securing one, you'll need to declare your interest on Friday, July 20, at a still to be announced time through the Exclusives Portal. Fans will need to log in to their account by 12 pm PT on Thursday, June 7 to show interest in the print, which will measure 24 inches by 36 inches and be printed on 100-lb. paper. It will also be numbered by the printer and signed by the artist. Attendees will receive an email around June 12 that will provide information on how to tell if you were randomly selected and how you can purchase the print, which will cost $70.

Up next for the MCU, following the massive success of both Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War, is Ant-Man and the Wasp. That film, directed by Peyton Reed, will hit theaters on July 6 and stars Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly as the titular heroes.
