Friday at San Diego Comic-Con is in full swing, with the crowds swarming around the booths downstairs and flooding the streets of San Diego. Inside one of the upper conference rooms, the Hasbro team behind Marvel Legends is bringing their A-Game, coming to discuss where the brand is and what's next for the storied action figure line.

The panel opens with a video from Dwight on Hasbro's product design team welcoming the audience. Ryan, Dan and Monique from Hasbro's marketing team are joined on stage by Jesse Falcon from Disney & Marvel. The stage has a number of upcoming products on the table: the Eye of Agamotto, the Hellfire Club box set, a Black Panther mask and a Spider-Man mask.

An image of the Wolverine holding a picture meme is displayed, with the picture replaced by a shot of a previous crowd. Ryan explains it's the first show in three years, and they've missed everyone.

The team discuss the MojoWorld exclusive. Jesse explains it's properly scaled, whereas the ToyBiz release of Mojo was limted based on how big the packaging could be.

The disucussion turnst o Marvel Legends 20th anniversary.

Jesse: "It's crazy that it's been that long, it doesn't feel like 20 years. But it's incredible. In the toy world, three years is incredible for an action figure line. So the fact that we have had a line for 20 years, but also that the form factor has been borrowed by so many companies, it says a lot. Every year, we just strive to push it every year. Now that we have the digital printing, that was five years ago and it's night and day - it's like a micro Hot Toys."

Ryan: "What's an item that was particularly memorable to you?"

Jesse: "Being at Marvel we had access to a number of illustrators and I liked working with Art Adams, because he was such a toy nerd. I remember saying I wanted to do that first appearance Thing, because when Jack Kirby first drew him he kind of looked like mud, and Art said 'say no more' and did three views, and we made that first appearance Thing. I pulled that figure out the other day, and it still looks great!"

"We wanted to do a build a Quinjet where you had plastic pieces and paper pieces, sort of papercraft. I'm glad we didn't do it, because it would have been so frustrating I think it would have killed the line.

Ryan confirms that's it this year for 20th anniversary, but they're hoping to revisit the idea again in the future.

Jesse is asked why the figures of the three Spider-Men from No Way Home took so long. "We were on an official blackout status for product, and that's why all these toys are coming 9 months after the film."

Ryan: "We do get spoiled sometimes, but there's a lot of times we don't know everything. We didn't know Tony would be snapping his fingers, but we went back and did an incredible figure of that. We didn't know Tobey and Andrew would be showing up."

The next character is also first in the line. Dan says he needs a special guest to reveal him and calls Robo from The Fwoosh to make the announcement.

Robo holds up a physical figure of Razorback. Robo says he loves him because he's a villain from Arkansas.

Jesse: "I have a folder, it's called Weirdos, some of them are deep cuts, but they're characters that haven't had figures or need refreshing. Razorback was high on the list, and this was such a delight to put together."

Next up is a slide showing off the LIfe Foundation symbiote five. Ryan points out they've done three so far: Lasher, Scream and Phage.

Agony is announced. It's on the new Shriek articulation, including double knees and elbows. Riot will also be coming using the Monster Venom body.

They end on a final Haslabs tease with a commemorative 50 Years of Ghost Rider logo.

A fan asks if there will be more MCU redeco figures.

Jesse: "I would say definitely! There's so much content and it's coming so fast."

A fan asks if there will be more GamerVerse or, particularly, Marvel vs Capcom 2 stuff.

Jesse: "Definitely GamerVerse. We probably wouldn't do anything based on the past rght now because we have so many games we're working on, and we have slots for those games already. But never say never."
