SDCC: Legendary Enters the Rift with Con-Exclusive "Pacific Rim" Variant

Director Guillermo del Toro and screenwriter Travis Beachum's sci-fi epic continues in Legendary Comics' new series "Pacific Rim: Tales From The Drift," and to celebrate, the publisher has revealed its Comic-Con International variant cover, illustrated by Whilce Portacio.

The series, written by Joshua Fialkov and drawn by Marcos Marz, takes place in the "Pacific Rim" universe prior to the events of the film, and will introduce new kaiju to a world ravaged by the super-sized monsters.

"Pacific Rim: Tales From The Drift" officially debuts November 4, but the first issue variant will be available this week at SDCC.
