One of the most eagerly anticipated games of the year, Gotham Knights, developed by WB Games Montreal, is headed to modern consoles and PC this October. Taking place in a world where Batman has been killed, the rest of the Bat-Family rise up to defend Gotham City from a massive crime wave, tangling with several fearsome supervillains in an open-world adventure. Attempting to fill in the void left by the Dark Knight’s demise are Nightwing (Christopher Sean), Batgirl (America Young), Red Hood (Stephen Oyoung), and Robin (Sloane Morgan Siegel), who must overcome their personal issues and grief as they take on some of Gotham’s fiercest foes. With even more nefarious foes lurking in the shadows, the Bat-Family is going to have to learn how to work together fast if they hope to survive.

At San Diego Comic-Con International 2022, Gotham Knights Creative Director Patrick Redding, Narrative Director Ann Lemay, Cinematic Director Wilson Mui, and actors Sean and Young visited the CBR Media Room to discuss the upcoming game. The group shared how they developed the voices for the Bat-Family in the wake of Batman’s death, teased villains that will challenge the four heroes, and explained the team dynamic within the Bat-Family as they each step up to carry on Batman’s legacy in their own way.

Developed by WB Games Montreal and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, Gotham Knights goes on sale Oct. 25 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
