SDCC: "Daredevil" Season 3 Ordered By Netflix

Marvel/Netflix confirmed at Comic-Con International: San Diego that a third season of "Daredevil" is on the way.

As the cast exited the stage after the premiere of the "Luke Cage" teaser trailer, Marvel exec Joe Quesada came back onto the stage to confirm that "Daredevil" will indeed get a third season on Netflix, though no release date was mentioned.

Additionally, Netflix released the following teaser for the third season:

Daredevil will also feature in the upcoming "Defenders" crossover series, which will see the Man Without Fear, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist team-up in live-action for the first time. You can watch the teaser trailer for "The Defenders" -- scored by Nirvana -- here.

"Daredevil" Season 3 is expected to premiere in 2017.
