There's a good chance that no one will ever believe it, but Bill Murray is on his way to Comic-Con.

The legendary comedian, actor and unexpected/amazing party guest is stopping by the annual San Diego pop culture fest for the first time this weekend according to E! Magazine. There's doubtlessly a legion of Venkman cosplayers wandering the floor in search of some ghosts to bust, but even with a reboot of Murray's storied "Ghostbusters" franchise currently filming, the actor is in town to promote his new film, "Rock The Casbah."

Murray stars as down-on-his-luck rock tour manager Richie Lanz, who takes his last remaining artist (Zooey Deschanel) on a USO tour of Afghanistan. While there, she develops cold feet and leaves him stranded in Kabul, penniless and without a passport. While trying to find his way home, Richie befriends a group of misfits and discovers a young girl with an extraordinary voice who might be his last shot at creating a superstar.

Opening Oct. 23, “Rock the Kasbah” also stars Kate Hudson, Danny McBride, Scott Caan, Bruce Willis and Leem Lubany.
