SDCC: "Arrow's" Stephen Amell to Appear in "Legends of Tomorrow" Season Premiere

Stephen Amell's Oliver Queen will pay a return visit to "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" in the Season 2 premiere. That's Oliver Queen, not Green Arrow.

"We're going to see Mr. Stephen Amell playing Oliver Queen right at the beginning," Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim teased this afternoon at Comic-Con International. "Actually, Mayor Oliver Queen."

The "Arrow" star appeared in the "Legends of Tomorrow" pilot and in the Season 1 episode "Star City 2046," which was set in an future where the city was overrun by criminals.

Amell won't be the only familiar face crossing paths with the Waverider crew in Season 2, as it was also revealed Johnathan Schaech will reprise his role as Jonah Hex.

That's of course in addition to "Arrow"-verse veterans John Barrowman (Malcolm Merlyn), Neal McDonough (Damien Darhk), Matt Letscher (Reverse-Flash) and Wentworth Miller (Captain Cold), who will form their own Legion of Doom in the upcoming season

"DC's Legends of Tomorrow" returns Thursday, Oct. 13, on The CW..
