SDCC: "Agents of SHIELD" Gets "Inhuman" With Lash

The watchwords for Season 3 of ABC's "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." may be "Secret Warriors," but even as the drama brings in new faces from that piece of the Marvel Universe, it hasn't left behind its Inhuman roots.

During Jeph Loeb's Marvel TV spotlight panel at Comic-Con in San Diego, the head of Marvel's television productions led cast members through a Q&A on the future of Skye (AKA Quake) and company's adventures. And amidst teases about who could and won't appear in the series, he also announced that one of the recent additions to Marvel Comics would soon appear in the series -- the Inhuman known as Lash.

Created by Charles Soule and Joe Maduiera, the character is a frightening force in the world of Terrigenesis. Lash uses energy to create wickedly powerful whips, and in the comics declared himself judge of which new Inhumans were worthy of carrying super powers.

While no actor has been revealed for the part, it's a certainty the character will play a villainous role for Skye in the upcoming season.
