Iron Fist has descended on Comic-Con International in San Diego. Head of Marvel Television Jeph Loeb brought a Season 2 inside scoop to Hall H, offering fans a first glimpse of the upcoming Netflix series -- but he didn't come alone. Special guests Finn Jones, Jessica Henwick, Simone Missick, Alice Eve, showrunner Raven Metzner and Black Panther stunt coordinator Clayton Barber joined Loeb on stage for the special presentation.

Loeb entered the stage wearing a karate uniform and headband. "You're going to get to see some things that only the people who go to Comic-Con get to see," he teased. He then led the crowd in a chant of "Iron Fist 2." As he challenged the audience to a fight, Henwick entered the stage and demanded he remove his outfit, which he obliged. He thanked the showrunner and a multitude of the crew behind the show, then introduced a clip.

The clip was revealed to be an Iron Fist teaser, which announced a release date of September 7.

According to Metzner, Season 2 filmed a lot in New York City's Chinatown. Further, the new season will find Danny Rand following Matt Murdock's final request: for Danny to protect the streets of NYC in his stead. David Dobkin directed the first episode of the season.

Loeb rolled another clip, which showed Danny and his Iron Fist in action. A second clip sent Colleen into action, while a third teamed Colleen and Misty up together.

"I wanted to make a punk rock fung fu song," Barber explained.

"We're kind of recalibrating Colleen... We kind of took everything away from Colleen," Henwick said. "We're trying to figure out who she is without that. You don't want to make her mad... The most exciting thing for Colleen is the introduction of this thing called Daughters of the Dragon."

"Misty kind of came to hang out," Missick laughed. "These two lovely Defenders of the neighborhood."

"I think that they bring a side of each other that you don't get to see otherwise," Henwick added. "They have a very similar sense of humor. They're tough. They're badass. What's not to love."

"Misty comes to Iron Fist Season 2, where Colleen is kind of in a similar headspace. She's not sure where she is in the world, where she fits," Simone explained. "Misty is there to tell her to pick herself up. There is no B.S. with these two... That's the best thing about these two women's relationship."

"There are all these pieces of mythology I'd be interested to play with this season," Metzner teased. "We should be in K'un L'un. We should see a different side of it... We should be inside, and in a relationship that Danny had in his past. Almost like a brother he had."

A fourth clip showed Danny Rand and Davos in K'un L'un, fighting one another for the honor of becoming the Iron Fist. Both wore a proto-Iron Fist mask as they fought, until one yielded -- or died in the process.

Eve arrived just after the clip rolled. Metzner offered a tease of who she'll play, dropping the hint that she'll have two massive machete-sized blades. "It was very, very violent," Eve said of her role. "The reason I took the role was because I got to play someone with multiple personalities." Finally, Loeb revealed Eve will play Mary Walker, aka Typhoid Mary. A clip showed Eve's Typhoid Mary fighting Colleen and Misty.

"He taught me that disciple is a path to success," she said of Barber. According to her, he taught her a valuable lesson: "You can do it if you do it enough, and that's what we did."

"I believe that was, 'You must change your relationship with pain,'" Barber corrected her.

A fourth clip showed Davos, who becomes Steel Serpent in the comics, wielding the Iron Fist.

Iron Fist Season 2 stars Finn Jones, Jessica Henwick, Tom Pelphrey, Jessica Stroup, Sacha Dawan, Simone Missick and Rosario Dawson. The series is set to drop on September 7.
