Ghostface, the chilling star of the Scream franchise, has his most embarrassing moments spotlighted by a fan... and he's not happy about it.The official Twitter account of the iconic persona adopted by a variety of characters across the Scream franchise called out a recent video that serves as a compilation of Ghostface's failures. The short edit includes clips from every iteration of the series and features the antagonist tripping, missing his targets spectacularly and getting hit in the face many, many times. The entire thing is synced with the song "It's a Hard Knock Life for Us" from the musical Annie.Related: Scream VI Director Discusses the 'Accelerated' Sequel

While Ghostface has been adopted by several individuals, Scream's iconic murderer is unique amongst slasher villains in that he's just as vulnerable as his victims. Despite this, the mask has become emblematic of the franchise, something creator Kevin Williamson believes has allowed the movies to continue for so long. "Whereas in Halloween and Friday the 13th there's Jason Voorhees, there's Michael Myers, there's Freddie Krueger. They don't go away and Ghostface changes with every movie, and so we have an opportunity to change the motive and change the story, and we can always twist and turn it," Williamson explained.

Scream in New York City

The next film in the series, Scream VI, will see several returning characters leaving the sleepy town of Woodsboro for the dangers of New York City. Trying to put the horrific events of the 2022 film Scream behind them, protagonists Tara and Sam Carpenter (Jenna Ortega and Melissa Barrera, respectively) will need to contend with a Ghostface that has seemingly ditched the knife-wielding ways of previous incarnations. Franchise stars Courteney Cox and Hayden Panettiere will also be reprising their roles as Gale Weathers and Kirby Reed, respectively.

As for the shift in location, Scream VI's stars have assured fans that New York City should prove to be just as terrifying as Woodsboro. "You also see how, in a city like New York City, everyone is kind of doing their own thing and someone is screaming for help, and no one will come to their help. No one comes to help them, you know, like, everyone's kind of like, 'I'm not getting into that,'" Barrera said.

Scream VI slashes its way into theaters on March 31.
