Ryan Murphy has assembled quite the group of new female faces for American Horror Story's third outing, Coven. The latest to join the cast is Emma Roberts, the real-life girlfriend of series lead Evan Peters.

According to TVLine, Roberts will play a "self-involved party girl by the name of Madison." Her involvement isn't a done deal, and it's unclear how large her role will be. Hopefully she'll get some screentime opposite Peters, and potentially will even be a part of the promised love story in Season 3.

Also joining the 13-episode third season are Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Patti LuPone and Gabourey Sidibe. Murphy previously said that the new season will focus on "female power" as a major theme, which explains why there are primarily actresses joining the cast. Returning faces include Peters, Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Taissa Farmiga, Frances Conroy and Lily Rabe.

"The one thing I’ll say about the part is, I wanted to see a lot of scenes with Jessica Lange and Kathy Bates going at it, so that’s what you’re going to get to see," Murphy said of Season 3 at Paleyfest. "It’s a really cool story that we’ve been talking about for a couple of years no, and this seemed like the year to do it.”

American Horror Story: Coven premieres this fall on FX.
