The cast for the fourth installment in the Scream franchise continues to flesh out, as actors Adam Brody (The O.C.), Marley Shelton (Sin City) and Eric Knudsen (Scott Pilgrim) have joined the cast.

Brody will star in the film as a Woodsboro cop, a recent college graduate who was raised on the CSI television series. Shelton replaces outgoing actress Lake Bell as a Woodsboro deputy who used to know Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) in high school. Knudsen's role is said to be similar to Jamie Kennedy's in the original trilogy: a comic relief character with extreme familiarity with horror movie conventions.

These new actors join previously announced cast members Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Rory Culkin and Nico Tortorella. Lauren Graham has been rumored for a role, though there are reports that she may have to withdraw from the project. Also starring in the film are returning Scream veterans Neve Campbell, David Arquette and Courtney Cox.
