Comic book writer Scott Snyder is teasing an announcement about his next big DC project with artist Greg Capullo.

On Twitter, Snyder revealed he and Capullo will be unveiling their next DC collaboration on Wednesday, Feb. 12. However, no other details were provided.

Of course, it's highly likely the announcement pertains to the upcoming Dark Nights: Metal sequel, which Snyder, Capullo and DC have been teasing for nearly two weeks.

Launched in 2017, Dark Nights: Metal saw DC's heroes go up against seven Dark Multiverse iterations of Batman, as well as Barbatos. While no concrete sequel details have been given, DC and Snyder did tease that Wonder Woman could be the central focus this time around.

Snyder and Capullo are popular among DC fans for their relaunch of the Batman series for the New 52. Their five-year run of the series spawned iconic storylines, introduced new characters and reinvented classic characters for the New 52 era. Some of these storylines include the revamped Batman origin story "Zero Year" and "The Court of Owls" storyline that introduced the enigmatic cabal to the DC Universe.

The pair would then reunite for Dark Nights: Metal, and given the critical and commercial success of that series, it makes sense for DC to put Snyder and Capullo back together for a sequel.
