Scott Snyder Shares Art from Superboy's Justice League Debut

With the Justice League battling future versions of themselves and the World Forger in their current story arc, "The Sixth Dimension," the team may need all the help it can get. And a new piece of art from Justice League # 24 shows just who the creative team of Scott Snyder and Jorge Jiménez are bringing in to help: Jon Kent, aka Superboy.

Snyder shared the artwork -- which was penciled by Jiménez -- on Twitter. The image shows Jon standing next to his father, Superman, as they both do the classic Superman shirt reveal.

As shown by Jiménez’s art, Jon is clearly excited to be joining his father in a Justice League adventure. The image also captures Superman's powerful and friendly presence. The synopsis for Justice League #24, which you can read below, lets readers know just what Jon is stepping into.

The League's plan is in full swing, but one member of the team isn't on board with their message and sides with the World Forger! Betrayed, there's only one person who can turn the tide of battle. Can Superman find the strength to escape his prison planet and save the Justice League, or is the League doomed to live out their days trapped in the Sixth Dimension?!

If the synopsis is any indication, Superboy may be the only one who can help his father's team in battling these new enemies. Of course, being the son of Superman, he's a force in and of himself, so he's definitely going to be important in helping the Justice League prevail.
