Based on the popular Scott Pilgrim comic series by Bryan Lee O'Malley, Edgar Wright's Scott Pilgrim vs. the World has garnered a huge cult following since its initial release. Now, Wright has revealed plans for Scott Pilgrim to return to the big screen."If you thought watching Scott Pilgrim from home was great, wait until it's back [Dolby Cinema], only in theatres!" Wright revealed on Twitter. However, a specific date for the re-release wasn't given, nor whether this will be a limited or wide release.

Released in 2010, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World stars Micheal Cera as Scott Pilgrim, a young musician who meets the literal girl of his dreams, Ramona Flowers. However, in order to date Ramona, Scott has to fight all seven of her evil ex-boyfriends.

Though Scott Pilgrim vs. the World didn't do well at the box office, critics and fans both lauded the film for its humor, music and visual effects. The film even received a Best Visual Effects nomination at the 83rd Academy Awards.
