Edgar Wright shared a behind-the-scenes video from Scott Pilgrim vs. the World showing the making of one of the movie's best gags.To celebrate 10 years since the release of the film, Wright shared a quick pre-visualization of the scene where Scott jumps out of the window to avoid talking to Knives. In the video, Wright plays the part of Wallace, Scott's roommate, brothers Chris and James Mark stand in for Scott and a bunch of cardboard boxes serve as the house.
One of the film's most iconic and hilarious moments, the pre-vis shares a lot of the final scene's charm. Both Chris and James performed in the final film, with Chris doubling for Michael Cera (Scott) and Satya Bhabha (Matthew Patel) and James doubling for Jason Schwartzman (Gideon Graves). And on the camera is Brad Allan, the film's stunt coordinator.
The cast of Scott Pilgrim recently reunited for a table read of the entire film to benefit charity and celebrate a decade since the cult classic adaptation of Bryan Lee O'Malley's comic released. Edgar Wright, meanwhile, is currently finishing post-production on Last Night in Soho, teased last year as a psychological horror movie. The plot will involve a young fashion designer who's able to travel back to 1960s London and meet her idol—but things naturally go awry.
