Based on the Scott Pilgrim series of graphic novels written and illustrated by Bryan Lee O'Malley, Wright's Scott Pilgrim vs. the World originally released in theaters in 2010. The film stars Michael Cera alongside the likes of Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Birds of Prey), Kieran Culkin, Alison Pill (Star Trek: Picard), Aubrey Plaza (Legion), Ellen Wong (GLOW), Chris Evans (The Avengers), Brie Larson (Captain Marvel), Brandon Routh (Superman Returns) and Anna Kendrick, among many others.

While Scott Pilgrim vs. the World underperformed upon its initial theatrical release in 2010, the film has gone on to be widely regarded as a cult classic, and maintains a substantial fanbase to this day. In addition to the theatrical re-release and the evidently planned Ultra HD release, the film's cast reunited for a virtual table read last summer to commemorate its 10th anniversary. A new edition of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game also released in January of this year.
