Batman and Scooby-Doo might not seem like they have a lot in common but there is one thing that unites them: they've each appeared in a lot of incarnations over the years. Now, the Scooby-Doo Team-Up series is going to let those massive worlds collide.
As previously reported, the Scooby gang has met with not just Batman and Robin, but alo Bat-Mite - a powerful, reality-warping imp who fancies himself Batman's biggest fan. We then learned that Scooby-Doo also has an imp fanboy: Scooby-Mite! Now, both imps are back for issue #99 and they have company.
In the latest issue, Scooby-Mite and Bat-Mite unleash a lot of Scooby gangs we've seen over the years, both fan-favorites and some not-so-favorites.
We get to see the gang as they appeared in A Pup Named Scooby-Doo; 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo; Be Cool, Scooby-Doo; Scooby-Doo Mystery Incorporated; Shaggy & Scooby-Doo Get a Clue! and even the live-action films. For those of us who prefer comics to cartoons, the gang as they appear in gritty Scooby Apocalypse appear, too.
As the imps warn, "So many worlds mean so many possibilities! The stories never end!" We can only imagine just what they have planned. Are they going to fight to see which is the ultimate Scooby gang? Will they join forces to outwit all the world's crooked real estate developers and their various schemes involving Halloween costumes? Are there enough Scooby snacks to go around?
