Joey Gaydos, Jr., who starred in the Jack Black comedy School of Rock, has been arrested for shoplifting guitars and amps across the state of Florida.He faces charges of open theft and shoplifting cases in Sarasota, Venice, and North Port. On Jan. 31, Gaydos walked out of a North Port store with a Les Paul Epiphone Prophecy guitar costing $800. He was allowed to play the instrument in the store before leaving with it without paying.RELATED: Batman: Jack Black Wants to Play the PenguinA February 7th incident of Gaydos playing a guitar in a Troll Music store in Venice was caught on tape, before he walked out the store with the instrument. The Venice Police department tweeted out footage from the recording.

A $1,900 guitar was also taken from a Sam Ash Music Store on Feb. 11, for which Manatee County Sheriffs took him into custody and released him the next day.

Gaydos is a repeat offender with charges in Sarasota, Venice, and North Port stemming from incidents that occurred over a period of five weeks. He is looking at two counts of grand theft and one count of shoplifting, according to Sarasota Sheriff's records.

The former actor claimed to an arresting officer he had to be arrested and he was stealing because of his drug habit.

Gaydos, now 28, was a child actor when he portrayed Zack “Zack Attack” Mooneyham in the 2003's School of Rock, his only major acting credit.
