As the inhabitants of a small town encounter the collection of eponymous short stories, their worst fears are brought to life, stalking them through cornfields and abandoned buildings after the sun goes down.
As more and more monsters continue to make their debut, the scary stories are sure to leave their mark on the hapless readers.
Directed by André Øvredal from a script by by Guillermo del Toro, Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark stars Zoe Colletti, Michael Garza, Gabriel Rush, Austin Abrams, Austin Zajur, Natalie Ganzhorn Dean Norris, Gil Bellows, Javier Botet and Lorraine Toussaint, and is scheduled to be released on Aug. 9, 2019.
