A new trailer for Insomniac Games' Spider-Man PlayStation 4 exclusive introduces gamers to the Scarlet Spider suit from the comics. The suit is most famous for being worn by Ben Reilly, a clone Spider-Man's alter-ego, Peter Parker.

The "Just the Facts: Combat" trailer features the voice of J. Jonah Jameson as a radio personality that takes calls from the public on the Spider-Man menace. When Peter calls in as a friendly-neighborhood anonymous caller, Jameson begins running down the qualities that make Spider-Man Public Enemy No. 1, including new gadgets and masks like those of the Scarlet Spider and Spider-Punk.

Some of the new powers and abilities displayed feature a sonic blast, web sprays and holographic duplicates. What's interesting about the final ability is it allows the Scarlet Spider to produce holographic replicas of himself, which can almost be thought of as clones. Of course, if you bring up the subject "Spider-Man" and "clones" to any fans of the web-slinger, they will immediately give you their thoughts on the controversial "Clone Saga" storyline from 2008 that introduced the world to Ben Reilly.
