Say Hello to 'The Bye Bye Man' Trailer (If You Dare)

"Don't say it, don't think it," we're warned in the first trailer for the horror-thriller "The Bye Bye Man," which stars Doug Jones in the title role.

Purporting to be "based on true events" (because, y'know), the film centers on three college friends who stumble upon the origins of "The Bye Bye Man," an supernatural entity who drives people to commit unthinkable acts. They discover there's just one way to avoid his curse (you guessed it): "Don't think it, don't say it."

Directed by Stacy Title ("Let the Devil Wear Black"), the film also stars Carrie-Anne Moss, Faye Dunaway, Douglas Smith, Cressida Bonas and Lucien Laviscount. "The Bye Bye Man" opens June 3.
