"Savage Membrane" and "Guns, Drugs, and Monsters" Back In Print

Official Press Release

San Diego, CA, March 16, 2004. Due to intense consumer demand, IDW Publishing has gone back to print on Steve Niles' Cal McDonald novels Savage Membrane and Guns, Drugs, and Monsters. These out-of-print novels have been in huge demand, and with the success of other Niles comics such as 30 Days Of Night and Dark Days-as well as a major film deal for the Cal McDonald character-the demand for his novels has skyrocketed.

Writer Steve Niles said, "I'm just thrilled Cal is back where he started and where he belongs. It's like I always say, home is where the horror is, and that's IDW."

Both books are now available to order from Diamond Distributors:

Savage Membrane (JAN045241)

Guns, Drugs, and Monsters (JAN045242)

"I'm very pleased that we've been able to go back to press on Steve's out-of-print Cal McDonald novels," IDW publisher Ted Adams said. "Readers and retailers have been asking for these reprints for a long time and I'm glad we can finally help them out."

Savage Membrane and Guns, Drugs, and Monsters are both 200-page trade paperback novels, priced at $16.99, with covers and black and white illustrations by Ashley Wood.
