'Savage Dragon' gears up for #100, plus new TPB on the way

ORANGE, CA -- 6 March, 2002 -- With SAVAGE DRAGON #94 in stores now, ErikLarsen is only six issues away from making comics history: Larsen's 100thissue of SAVAGE DRAGON will set a new record for the most consecutive issuesof a comic book written and drawn by a single creator. What's more, Larsenwill be the first and only Image founder to write and draw 100 consecutiveissues of the title he launched in 1992.

Larsen's celebrating the occasion with a 100-page super spectacular,jam-packed with an all-new 22 page lead story and ten additional back-upstories, for a total of 88 pages of all-new material written and drawn bythe series' creator. The lead story will be written, penciled and inked byLarsen, as always, but the back-up stories will be inked by a veritablewho's who of comic book artists and inkers, including Terry Austin, Al
