WARNING: The following contains major spoilers for Savage Avengers #21 by Gerry Duggan, Patch Zircher, Java Tartaglia, and VC's Travis Lanham, on sale now.

The Marvel Universe has never been a particularly safe place, though rarely has it been quite as dangerous as in the pages of Savage Avengers. . Most recently, Conan has come face to face with one of the most powerful entities that the universe has to offer. Unfortunately for Ghost Rider, Conan teaches him a valuable lesson in keeping track of his wheels in Savage Avengers #21.

Conan's recent victories have left him with a new mansion to crash in and a renewed partnership with a symbiote. While investigating some sort of supernatural outbreak, Conan is quite literally yanked away by the chains of Ghost Rider. This unexpected appearance is shocking in its brutality, if for no other reason than the fact that Conan has been working diligently enough to root out one of the greatest threats that mankind has ever known. His bond to the symbiote, which was tortured by Kulan Gath, caught the Spirit of Vengeance's eye and drew him to Conan. Tonight, that particular brand of vengeance just so happens to be dragging Conan up the side of a tall apartment building in what might be the most stunning interrogation of all time.

Ghost Rider demands that Conan tell him where Kulan Gath is, as he can smell the stench of the sorcerer on the barbarian. The scent of Kulan Gath's dark magic on the symbiote, and by extension Conan, has brought his wrath to the Cimmerian's doorstep. Conan lets Ghost Rider know that he too hates Kulan Gath, but he hates the undead even more.

While still being pulled upwards by Ghost Rider's chain, Conan yanks it back, pulling the Spirit of Vengeance from his motorcycle. The two have just a moment to taunt one another as they hang from the side of the building before the Cimmerian reminds his opponent that his bike has yet to fall, just before it comes crashing down on top of him. In all of the ways Ghost Rider has been taken down, rarely has it been done by using his own motorcycle against him.

Crushing Ghost Rider under his own infernal motorcycle may not be enough to keep him down for long, but it is still an embarrassing moment for one of the Marvel Universe's supernatural powerhouses. Ghost Rider's wheels are just as iconic as the character himself, though that doesn't help soften the blow he has literally just been dealt by them.

Although Conan proved capable of taking down one of Marvel's most powerful mystical heroes, the battle may be far from over. Ghost Rider has never been known for being easily defeated, and he has always been known to give just as good as he gets against even the most powerful opponents.
