The following contains spoilers for The Santa Clauses Episode 6, "Chapter Six: A Christmas to Remember," now streaming on Disney+.

Tim Allen's Scott Calvin is Santa Claus once again by the time the credits roll on The Santa Clauses finale.

The Disney+ series' sixth and final episode, "Chapter Six: A Christmas to Remember," picks up immediately after the events of the previous episode, with Scott locked up at the North Pole and unable to stop Simon Choksi/Santa Claus (Kal Penn) from extinguishing the Christmas spirit for good. Luckily for Scott, his family comes to the rescue, and together they are able to stop Choksi and reteach him what Christmas is really about. With Santa's magical coat back in his possession, Scott puts it on and regains the title of Santa Claus just in time to deliver presents around the world on Christmas Eve.

When The Santa Clauses was first announced, Disney+ stated the series would focus on Scott "stepping down as Santa Claus and finding a worthy successor so that he can become a better father and husband." However, "Chapter Six: A Christmas to Remember" has Scott learning that he can be both a better father/husband and Santa Claus, with the episode ending with Scott taking his family with him to complete his Christmas duties. This decision builds upon the previous episode's reveal that Scott was chosen to become the first human Santa Claus with hopes that he would one day pass the title and responsibilities onto his son Buddy "Cal" Calvin who would then pass it on to his offspring and so on.

Some Familiar Faces Are Back for The Santa Clauses

The Santa Clauses sees Allen and Elizabeth Mitchell reprise their roles from The Santa Clause film trilogy as Scott and Carol Calvin/Santa and Mrs. Claus, respectively. Although they are the only legacy characters to appear through the entire six-episode season, the Disney+ series does find time to bring back fan-favorite characters like Eric Lloyd as Scott's son, Charlie, and David Krumholtz as Santa's former right-hand elf, Bernard. Lloyd's Charlie appeared in Episode 2 as a potential candidate to replace Scott as Santa while Krumholtz returned as Bernard in Episode 5, which revealed that he had fallen in love with Oscar winner Dame Vanessa Redgrave between the events of the second and third films and chose to give up his eternal youth to live with her on Earth.

The giant toy soldiers that were created by Toy Santa in 2004's The Santa Clause 2 also appeared in The Santa Clauses finale, being pulled out of storage by Simon Choksi to help find the Calvin family. However, despite initially being seen as a threat, the toy soldiers were quickly dismantled by Mrs. Claus after she went "Mrs. John Wick" on them after one of Choski's drones referred to her as "an unknown woman [who] poses no threat."
