Sandra Bullock supports the fan-casting of her The Lost City co-star Daniel Radcliffe as Wolverine and is telling Marvel to make it a reality.

The two actors were promoting their new film The Lost City with It's Gone Viral when the conversation shifted to Radcliffe's rumored casting as Marvel superhero Logan/Wolverine. "Why don't you just do it?" Bullock asked Radcliffe at one point in the interview. "Because no one's asking me in reality, Sandra. It's just Twitter speculation," the actor answered. This prompted Bullock to address the camera and state, "Wolverine people, can you please just fucking cast him? Just do it. Stop tiptoeing around and having people ask at press junkets. Just cast the man."

This isn't the first time Radcliffe has been asked about playing Wolverine in the Marvel Cinematic Universe during The Lost City's press tour. While promoting the romantic comedy on The View, Radcliffe offered some insight on why he thinks fans continue to cast him in the role. "This is something that comes up every so often -- because in the comics Wolverine is short, so every so often everyone’s like 'Who's a short actor?' -- but there’s never been any actual truth to it," said Radcliffe.

That's not to say the actor is opposed to the idea. "I don't see them going from Hugh Jackman to me, but who knows? Prove me wrong, Marvel," Radcliffe said in another interview. Marvel has not revealed any new details regarding the inclusion of Wolverine in the MCU since a mutant-centered film was announced at 2019's San Diego Comic-Con.

Wolverine was first introduced in the last panel of The Incredible Hulk #180 in November 1974. The character has since become one of Marvel's most popular superheroes, headlining multiple comic books and television shows alongside the X-Men. Hugh Jackman famously played Wolverine in 2000's X-Men, which marked the character's live-action debut. Jackman would reprise the role eight more times over the next two decades before stepping away from the character after 2017's Logan.

While some fans might cherish one last appearance from Jackman as Weapon X, many are also keen on seeing Radcliffe or Taron Egerton, another popular fan-casting for the role, step into the character's yellow and blue spandex suit. With Patrick Stewart confirming his return as Professor Charles Xavier in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, audiences may not have to wait much longer for the arrival of mutants in the MCU.

The Lost City is currently in theaters. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness opens on May 6.
