An exclusive first look at The Sandman is coming to Netflix's TUDUM virtual event on Saturday.

During the second hour of TUDUM, The Sandman stars Tom Sturridge and Kirby Howell-Baptiste will appear alongside Neil Gaiman, executive producer on the show and author of the comics that inspired it. Together they'll present a first look at the long-awaited live-action TV series, revealing character posters and a video.

Sturridge stars in The Sandman as Dream of the Endless, also known as Morpheus or the Sandman, an immortal being who represents humanity's ability to dream, hope and imagine. Howell-Baptiste will play Dream's older sister, Death.

The Sandman spotlight will kick off the second hour of TUDUM, hosted by Finn Wolfhard and Caleb McLaughlin. A full schedule for the event can be found here. Netflix has promised that "TUDUM will bring together our biggest stars and creators from around the world on one virtual stage to celebrate our fans and their favorite series and films."

TUDUM begins on Saturday, Sept. 25 at 9 a.m. PT/12 p.m. ET. Fans can tune in by visiting Netflix's YouTube channel, as well as Twitter and Twitch.
