Following the completion of 2016's Comic-Con International in San Diego, the dates for next year's show have been revealed. In 2017, Comic-Con International will return to the San Diego Convention Center from July 20-23, with a preview night on Wednesday, July 19. As announced at CCI's website, 2017 will mark the show's 48th year in the city.

Applications for exhibitors for the 2017 show are now available, as are Artist Alley applications.

This year's SDCC saw a number of major announcements and reveals, including the casting of Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, the debut of the "Wonder Woman" trailer, Ezekiel's arrival in "The Walking Dead," a post-Flashpoint look at the CW's "Flash" and the announcement of Marvel's "Inhumans vs. X-Men."
