Actor Samuel L. Jackson read a new NSFW poem, written by the author of Go The F**k To Sleep, to emphasize the importance of social distancing on Jimmy Kimmel's Live From His House Podcast.

While on Kimmel's podcast on Tuesday, Jackson, video conferencing from his home, presented to the public his reading of a sequel poem to Adam Mansbach's book Go The F**k To Sleep. The new poem, entitled Stay the F**k at Home, encourages social distancing during the coronavirus (COVID-19) quarantine.

Jackson was contacted by Mansbach with the new poem and decided to release this reading as a callback to his original 2011 reading of Mansbach's NSFW children's book parody. Go The F**k To Sleep, which had a number one debut on the New York Times bestseller list, is about a parent pleading with their child to turn in for the night. In a similar way, the sequel poem pleads with those quarantined in the COVID-19 pandemic to wash their hands, not touch their face, and most importantly to stay at home.

Through the cheeky poem, Jackson advises, "The 'rona is spreading. This shit is no joke. It's no time to work or roam. The way you can fight it is simple my friends, just stay the fuck at home."

Unlike in Mansbach's original book, Jackson himself is worked directly into the poem with the words, "Now technically I'm not a doctor, but motherfuckers listen when I read a poem, so here I am Sam fucking Jackson imploring you, keep your ass at home."

In his interview with Kimmel, Jackson revealed that even he has had to cancel his annual trip to Italy with NBA Hall of Famer Magic Johnson amidst the virus outbreak. Jackson and his wife and daughter are all also heeding the words of the poem and are self-isolating in different parts of Jackson's home.
