In the third season of the classic Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon anime, the Sailor Guardians are up against a brand-new enemy called the Death Busters. These science-based villains seek out the three holy Talismans. These sacred objects are sealed within three individuals on Earth.

As Sailor Moon and her friends battle the Death Busters, a pair of mysterious and new Sailor Guardians appear: Sailors Uranus and Neptune. They're after the Talismans, too, and they have no desire to work with the other Guardians.

10 Episode 101: Usagi in Tears: a Glass Slipper for My Birthday (8.4)

It's Usagi's fifteenth birthday and Mamoru has forgotten to buy her a present. Or, did he? As the other girls prepare a surprise party for Usagi, Kaolinite eyes Miss Tsukino as her next potential Talisman target. When Usagi goes to reconcile with Mamoru, Kaolinite strikes.

Upon finding out that Usagi's Pure Heart Crystal is especially potent, Sailors Uranus and Neptune begrudgingly accept the fact they have to sacrifice their friend's life if she really is a Talisman host.

9 Episode 103: The Arrival of a Small Pretty Guardian (8.4)

When the other girls learn that Rei is helping plan the Jūban festival, they pitch in. Meanwhile, Professor Tomoe elects one of the Witches 5 members to be Kaolinite's successor: Eudial. Unlike her predecessor, Eudial takes a more academic approach to finding potential Talisman hosts.

At the festival, Eudial attacks one of Rei's peers, a taiko drummer. As Sailor Moon and Sailor Mars struggle to fight the latest daimon, a new ally appears in the form of a tiny child.

8 Episode 106: The Bond of Destiny: Uranus's Distant Past (8.6)

While checking out potential high schools, Usagi and the other girls meet a track star who so happens to be Eudial's latest victim. The core Sailor Guardians are unable to fend off a daimon and save their innocent. From nearby, though, Haruka watches, waiting for Michiru to show up.

As Haruka witnesses the other Sailor Guardians fight the enemies, she recalls how she and Michiru met and how she became Sailor Uranus.

7 Episode 120: An Invasion from an Another Dimension: Mystery of Mugen Academy (8.6)

Sailor Moon and her Sailor Guardians infiltrate Mugen Academy in hopes of understanding their enemy better. Instead, they interrupt Mimete's latest scheme: attacking a visiting guest speaker. The Sailor Guardians battle Mimete and her powerful daimon to no avail.

Once the main threat is dealt with, Mimete desperately activates her contingency plan. She uses one of Eudial's old inventions to enhance her powers so she can crush the Guardians. Unfortunately, Mimete failed to realize why Eudial never used the invention herself.

6 Episode 92: A Handsome Boy? Haruka Tenō's Secret (8.6)

Usagi and Minako become obsessed with a new boy they meet at the arcade: Haruka Tenō. They follow 'him' around to get more intel, but Haruka is no fool. Elsewhere, Kaolinite selects another target in her quest to find the three Talisman hosts.

At an auto garage, Kaolinite's daimon egg implants itself into a car, becoming a monster. Sailor Moon and Sailor Venus appear on the scene to help a mechanic who's been attacked, but they're taken aback by the sudden appearance of two new Sailor Guardians: Sailors Uranus and Neptune!

5 Episode 124: The Coming Terror of Darkness: Struggle of the Eight Guardians (8.7)

Hotaru has become Mistress 9, an emissary of evil for the approaching alien entity known as Master Pharaoh 90. As the Death Busters await his arrival, the divided Sailor Guardians go to Mugen Academy for very different reasons. The Inner Guardians want to retrieve Chibi-Usa's Pure Heart Crystal, which Mistress 9 stole, and save Hotaru. However, the Outer Guardians only want to kill Mistress 9 to prevent the Silence.

Before either team can enter the school, Mistress 9 activates every dormant daimon egg so that an army of gelatinous and unstoppable daimons keep the Guardians busy.

4 Episode 109: The Shocking Moment: Everyone’s Identities Revealed (8.8)

Minako is worried about why she's the only one in her group of friends who hasn't been attacked by the Death Busters. Fearing her heart isn't pure enough, Minako goes to extremes to prove she's worthy of being Eudial's next target. Her plan, sadly, works.

Eudial extracts Minako's Pure Heart Crystal, but, in a bizarre and unforeseen development, Minako runs away with the object in tow. Eudial, Usagi, Haruka, and Michiru finally all end up trapped in a parking garage, fighting for the possession of Minako's Pure Heart. To get out, though, identities will have to be revealed.

3 Episode 102: The Stolen Pure Heart: Usagi's Crisis (8.9)

Kaolinite and her daimon have entombed Tuxedo Mask in ice, and they're holding him ransom in exchange for Usagi's Pure Heart Crystal. Haruka and Michiru escort Usagi to Kaolinite's rendezvous point, the Tokyo Tower.

At the destination, Usagi meets with the enemy and offers up her Pure Heart. Sailors Uranus and Neptune intervene, as do the other Sailor Guardians. As luck would have it, Usagi is not a Talisman host. This doesn't mean they're safe, though. Not with Kaolinite still around.

2 Episode 125: The Shining Shooting Star: Saturn and the Messiah (9.0)

Sailor Moon is brought before Mistress 9, who wants to serve up the Holy Grail to the Death Busters' true leader, Master Pharaoh 90. Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune burst in, ready to kill Mistress 9. Of course, Sailor Moon won't let that happen as she believes they can save Hotaru, who has been overtaken by Mistress 9.

Master Pharaoh 90 finally arrives, and all hope seems lost. Sailor Moon can't power up to her Super form, and Chibi-Usa's Pure Heart may be lost along with Mistress 9. It will take a miracle to save the world now.

1 Episode 110: The Death of Uranus and Neptune: The Talisman Appears (9.3)

Eudial, now knowing the secret identities of all the Sailor Guardians, invites Haruka and Michiru to a cathedral out at sea. There, she will tell them who the Talisman hosts are. This turns out to be a trap and Sailors Uranus and Neptune fight for their lives as Eudial attacks.

Meanwhile, Usagi rushes to the cathedral to help. She met up with Haruka and Michiru earlier, and, to keep her from interfering with their plans, they took her brooch so she can't transform.
