Sailor Saturn is the tenth scout in Sailor Moon and is considered to be one of the most powerful members of the cast. She helped the outer Senshi to be reincarnated on Earth, despite the fact that anytime she loses her power, she also must start over. Sailor Saturn was also the reason the scouts prevailed in later arcs on the show, but fans aren't entirely sure how much power the Sailor Scout actually has. It is revealed that she most likely could restart the entirety of Earth if she needed to use the full extent of her power in order to win a battle.

10 Beerus

Beerus is a lot lazier than Sailor Saturn but is easily more powerful than the Senshi. Beerus is the god of destruction for his universe and is responsible for keeping a balance by occasionally wiping out a few different worlds.

Despite his status, he isn't even the most powerful character in the Dragon Ball Z universe, as there is Whis is the one who trained Beerus in the first place.

9 Madoka Kaname

Madoka Kaname became a god after Homura used her wish to become stuck in an eternal time loop. Madoka can change the rules of the world and is shown to only be rivaled by Homura when she becomes the devil in the last movie.

Madoka is never seen using her powers to destroy worlds, but it is highly likely that she could have wiped out the Kyubey going on his reaction to being caught by her in the final episode of the original series.

8 Haruchi Suzumiya

Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya

Haruchi is a character that doesn't completely have control over her power to literally recreate the world. Her powers are directly linked to her feelings, though, making her an especially dangerous character that can accidentally wipe out the Earth.

Part of the plot of the show is making sure that Haruchi never becomes bored to ensure that she doesn't restart the world. One thing that is always worse than destructive powers are destructive powers that the user can't control.

7 Kami Tenchi

There is no denying that the Tenchi Muyo universe can get a bit strange at times, especially when it concerns the royal family. As it turns out, the main character, Tenchi, actually just happens to be an early form of god, as is revealed in later OVAs.

Kami Tenchi is more powerful than the three goddesses, which are stated to destroy the universe if they all appear in humanoid forms. While Kami Tenshi hasn't been elaborated on much, this fact is still horrifying.

6 The Creator

Battler With Beatrice Painting Umineko

An even more confusing universe is that of Umineko, which houses The Creator, the supreme bean of the whole series. The Creator is able to create or erase the universe with ease and has the ultimate authority over the world of Umineko.

The Creator may even be the most powerful anime character of all time since he literally trumps everything that has ever or ever will be created. This easily trumps Saturn's ability to help reincarnate people.

5 Koro-sensei

Koro-sensei is the antagonist from the series Assassination Classroom, where he becomes a homeroom teacher after destroying most of the room. Koro-sensei gives his students a task to kill him in order to prevent him from destroying the Earth in a year.

Koro-sensei is a strange antagonist as he cares about the students he teaches greatly and gives them a fair chance at killing him despite the fact that he possesses an incredible amount of power.

4 Toneri Otsutsuki

Toneri is a Naruto character that has the ability to force the moon to crash into the Earth, destroying life on it. On top of this power, he is also skilled in ninjutsu and has the ability to go toe to toe with Naruto at his most powerful.

Toneri is only stopped when he realizes that he had been mistaken about the last wishes of his father. Luckily Toneri works to protect the Earth now, but if he didn't, he could easily wipe it out.

3 VIRM

VIRM is an alien force from Darling in the Franxx who devours the essence of other creatures in order to create a single entity. VIRM has done this assimilation process to man planets and finds his way to Earth where he eventually reveals himself near the end of the series.

VIRM would have probably finished the Earth off completely if it wasn't for the strange power that awakened within 002 towards the end of the show and Hiro going into space to fight with her.

2 Ryuk

death-note-ryuk

Ryuk is a horrifying shinigami that is pretty much immortal as long as he keeps writing names in his death note. Ryuk has the ability to easily toy with humans' lives as he does when he gets bored and begins to follow around Light Yagami.

Ryuk embodies chaos and has the ability to control anyone up until they die; if he wanted he could even cause massive wars to start that would eventually wipe out the world.

1 Charles Zi Britannia

Charles, the main antagonist of Code Geass

Charles is the father of the infamous Lelouch in Code Geass and is also one of the users of the geass power. Charles, if not for Lelouch, would have been able to force every human that had ever lived into one entity using the Ragnarok Connection.

In a sense, Lelouch may even be stronger since he used his geass to order the gods to ignore his father's power to combine all of humanity before he could carry out his plan.
