According to Maurissa Tancharoen’s Twitter, the “S.H.I.E.L.D.” pilot has wrapped filming, which means no more behind-the-scenes teaser photos from the executive producer. However, she did sign off with this photo of the production team. From left to right, it’s Head of Marvel Television Jeph Loeb, Tancharoen, director Joss Whedon and fellow executive producers Jed Whedon and Jeffrey Bell.
THE WALKING DEAD
AMC’s “The Walking Dead” had a record number of viewers tune in for the third season’s midseason premiere, bringing in 12.3 million viewers.
“When you look at numbers like this, the first thing that comes to mind is how grateful we are to the fans of this show. They embrace The Walking Dead in a way that we wanted to believe was possible but we never take for granted,” AMC President Charlie Collier said in a statement. “The cast and crew put everything they have into making this show. They’re a phenomenally talented group who truly give their all. We congratulate everyone involved.”
A new clip from next week’s episode, “Home” has also made the rounds online. Check it out below.

X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST
While many ex-“X-Men” cast members have been announced as joining Bryan Singer’s “Days of Future Past,” the director remains coy on a number of popular characters. He could neither confirm nor deny Halle Berry’s return as Storm and in an interview with The Huffington Post, he adds Alan Cumming’s Nightcrawler to the list.
“Sometimes you don’t want to say ‘yes’ or ‘no’ to something that may not be a ‘yes’ or a ‘no,’ or anything,” Singer said in response to a question about Cumming’s possible return. “I haven’t decided yet, a few things. I’m still, you know — there are certain aspects of the script that I’m still toying with.”

Unsurprisingly, the CW has renewed “Arrow” for a second season. The series was the CW’s highest-rated premiere since 2009, so renewing it seems like a no-brainer — but given the recent non-confirmation of cancellation with another popular DC Comics-based show, “Young Justice,” fans can rest easy knowing the fate of “Arrow” is set in stone next year.

A Change.org petition to bring back “Young Justice” and “Green Lantern: The Animated Series” to Cartoon Network’s DC Nation fall schedule has reached 25,000 signatures. While the Network has commented briefly on the situation, there is still no hard confirmation that either show has been cancelled — only that the shows won’t be airing this fall on Cartoon Network.
