Ryan Reynolds sent a gift to the fan who redirected the Avengers: Endgame URL to a Deadpool advertisement.
After the release of the first trailer for Avengers: Endgame, legions of fans went looking for more information about the film. However, anyone who typed in the URL AvengersEndgame.com was greeted with a surprise: no new Avengers reveals, but instead a redirect to an advertisement for Deadpool.
The fan, who goes by AGuyInChair on Twitter, has revealed that he owns the domain names for AvengersEndgame.com and AvengersEndgameMovie.com. He also said he will relinquish the websites if he receives two tickets to the premiere of Avengers: Endgame for himself and his wife.
Holy crap! There's stuff inside too! (These have got to be worth two tickets, right?) They're from Canada! Or a Canadian at the very least!! pic.twitter.com/3l1RXGMmF1— Guy Inchair (@AGuyInChair) December 14, 2018
io9 reports that the fan in question received a personal present from Ryan Reynolds for the act: a pretty impressive briefcase was a pair of Aviation Head-Phones. The custom set retails for $850. Reynolds replied to the reveal of the present, saying, "This isn’t to say I’m proud of what you did. Just that I happen to love you."
The links now lead to a short video of someone dressed as Santa Claus, reiterating his proposal for Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige.
