Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, who previously worked together on “Crazy, Stupid, Love” and “Gangster Squad,” may reunite for “La La Land,” director Damien Chazelle’s follow-up to “Whiplash.”
Deadline describes the movie, written by Chazelle before “Whiplash,” as an old-fashioned musical set in contemporary Los Angeles and involving a love story between a jazz pianist and an aspiring actress.”La La Land” was previously set to star Miles Teller and Emma Watson. However, Watson is now busy with Disney’s live-action “Beauty and the Beast,” while Teller is teaming with Jonathan Levine on an adaptation of “Home Is Burning.”
