Like all previous volumes of RWBY, Volume 7 features an original soundtrack composed by longtime Rooster Teeth collaborator Jeff Williams, who had previously gotten his start with the company creating music for its flagship series, Red vs. Blue. The primary vocalist for Williams' RWBY tracks is his daughter, Casey Lee Williams. In addition to the Williamses, RWBY Volume 7's soundtrack features the likes of Alex Abraham, Adrienne Cohen, Dawn M. Bennett, Erin Reilly and Caleb Hyles. This volume's songs include "War," "Hero," "Until the End" and the opening theme, "Trust Love."

RWBY Volume 7 premiered in November of 2019, concluding this past February. Production on Volume 8 is currently underway, with writer/executive producer Kerry Shawcross recently confirming that the writing process for Volume 9 had begun as well.
