DC Comics has released a preview for the first issue of its Rooster Teeth crossover comic RWBY/Justice League, which sees main protagonist Ruby Rose and her older sister Yang Xiao Long meet the World of Remnant's version of Superman.
RWBY/Justice League is set sometime prior to the events of RWBY Volume 3's finale, as evidenced by the fact that Ruby and Yang are wearing their original outfits and are apparently still training at Beacon Academy in the Kingdom of Vale. Issue #1 sees the sisters return home to the Island of Patch to visit their father, Taiyang Xiao Long. Upon their arrival, Ruby and Yang discover that their father has hired a new farmhand name Clark, whom Taiyang describes as being "just super" (and he's got the powers to prove it).
RWBY/Justice League is written by Marguerite Bennett, who previously penned DC's first official RWBY tie-in comic. Just like that series, RWBY/Justice League is a digital-first title that will release a total of 14 digital chapters, which will then be collected into seven print issues. The first four chapters of RWBY/Justice League are available for digital purchase now, with the first print issue slated for release on Tuesday, April 27.
Bennett is joined on the crossover series by such artists as Aneke, Stephanie Pepper and Emanuela Lupacchino. The first issue, illustrated by Aneke, features cover art by Mirka Andolfo, Bennett's collaborator on the first RWBY comic. The print edition of RWBY/Justice League #1 will also ship with a variant cover by Simone Di Meo.

Created by Monty Oum, Rooster Teeth's original RWBY animated series recently concluded its eighth season. RWBY Volume 8's finale, "The Final Word," released for Rooster Teeth FIRST subscribers on March 27 and will be available to the general public tomorrow, April 3.
