A new report indicates Joe and Anthony Russo are working on a new project centered on late comics legend Stan Lee, who passed away at 95 in November.
According to the India Times, Anthony Russo confirmed the news, saying, "We love Stan Lee and I think it's incredibly special that '...Endgame' will be his final cameo. We are fascinated by the life of Stan Lee and we are actually developing a little something that has to do with his work in the history of Marvel."
"But we are not ready to present it or talk about it yet," he added. "It's more of a documentary."
In addition to co-creating such beloved comics characters as Spider-Man, the Fantastic Four and the Hulk, Lee had cameos in tons of different movies related to comics. His final cameo will be in Avengers: Endgame.
Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Benedict Wong, Jon Favreau and Bradley Cooper, with Gwyneth Paltrow and Josh Brolin. The film arrives April 26.
