Napoleon Bonaparte isn't the fairest of them all, but he's certainly among the most ruthless. And now, he has a new director: Rupert Sanders, late of Snow White and the Huntsman.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sanders has signed on for Napoleon, a new film from Warner Bros. that chronicles the rise and fall of the legendary French military leader. The film will be produced by Gianni Nunnari, who also produced Zack Snyder's 300.

The script comes from Jeremy Doner, and it's said to take "a Scarface-like look" at Bonaparte, "a genius who believed in himself almost too much."
