The cast of M. Night Shyamalan's upcoming Apple TV thriller series has just added a certain Harry Potter actor.

Rupert Grint, who previously starred as Ron Weasley in all eight main Harry Potter films, has signed on to appear in the currently untitled series in a supporting role. Grint will appear as Julian Pearce, the younger brother of protagonist Dorothy Turner, played by Lauren Ambrose (Six Feet Under).

Little is known about the upcoming series other than its follows new parents Dorothy and Sean Turner who hire a nanny to take care of their newborn child. The series was created by Tony Basgallop (24), who serves as an executive producer and writer for the series. He is joined by Shyamalan, who also serves as an executive producer and will direct the pilot episode.

The thriller was ordered straight-to-series by Apple and will be produced through Shyamalan's production company Blinding Edge Pictures. There is currently no announced premiere date for the untitled series though production is expected to begin in earnest once Shyamalan completes post-production on his upcoming Unbreakable/Split crossover film Glass.
